"AP were not accepting the POE signal with the existing runs. If the AP were connected via POE adapter it worked as long as they were connected via patch cable. New 100 ft out of the box wiring issue? "
"Upon arrival the customer requested me test the new wiring that was installed recently. One cable tested ok, but the second had a missing pair. Tried to re-terminate the second cable, but notced a kink in th ecable and once I spliced it to create the new end, I noticed, there was one wire missing from the original 8. I concluded immediately that the wiring was pulled during installation with the termination already installed and caused a wire to snap. While replacing the second wiring, I notied the first wire was wrapped aroung a high voltage line coming into the server. Not good. Traced it all the was to the AP and found multiple kinks. This wire was also replaced and re-routed away from this high voltage conduit. "

"There are two different monitoring units that are attached to this PC. They are attached via Ethernet wiring. Upon speaking to the customer, I noticed there was only one Ethernet connected and the second was the LAN cable. The second unit wiring was missing."
"I placed a tester on the cat5 wire from the room in question and tracked it to a section of wiring that was coiled and tie strapped in individual bundles. Once the wired was freed from that location, I tested it for connectivity and installed it to the PC. At this time, we had another issue. We were not receiving anything readings from the unit. Upon further search, I discovered the unit in question was missing the power cord. Once it was plugged in, everything came back to life."
